Now I just need to find out what grade I’ll be teaching! First? Fourth? I need to know so I can find/make posters, and get a classroom library together, and start to plan.

I love 4th grade! They are soooooooo sweet, they love their teacher, and they are just old enough to think and do cool things academically.
Here’s a free tip from a veteran ’02 alum.4th graders LOVE competition. It is motivating for even ED students. Have groups compete against other groups, or have a class wide competition, where points add up to a class reward. You will not be disappointed.
